Built on Trust

Our name reflects the Japanese concept of Bariki (バリキ)—structural stamina, internal motivation, and raw execution velocity. We built Bariki to give students that same energy, with an experience designed around respect for their autonomy from the very first line of code. Guidance when they want it, space when they don't, and a private place to think that's genuinely their own.

Bariki is built around one simple promise: your private world stays on your phone. The things that are personal—your conversations, your reflections, the day-to-day guidance you lean on—live on your own device and are never sent away. We designed Bariki so that it simply can't peek. It doesn't track students; it gives them the stamina to do their best work.

Bariki is built to give students back their calm—not to compete for their attention. No endless feeds. No notifications designed to pull them back in. No games that turn focus into a score. Just a quieter, more intentional day, and a young person who feels a little more in control of it.

Is Bariki free for individual students?

Bariki is offered through schools and institutions, so students get access once their school partners with us.

Does this replace textbooks, classes, or tutoring?

No. Bariki doesn't teach lessons or replace tutoring. It looks after everything around the school day—focus, balance, and well-being—so students can keep up with their work and their passions without burning out.

Can teachers or the school read my private notes and conversations?

No. Your personal notes and conversations stay on your own phone. They're never uploaded, so no one—not the school, not even us—can read them.

Partner With Us

We're looking for schools to partner with us. We'd like to interview a small group of students — roughly 3–4 per class, from Classes 7 to 12 — to help shape the app around what they actually need. We're not asking for funding or any ownership stake, just the chance to listen to the students who'll use it. We're looking for student developers to help us build the app. If you can code — Android, iOS, backend, or anything in between — and want real experience shipping a live product, we want to hear from you.
